Who is responsible for your data

What we collect
If you send an enquiry through the form on this site, we receive the information you type into it: your first and last name, your email address, the dates you are asking about, the room type you selected, and your message. The group enquiry form on the Groups and Gatherings page asks for the same kind of detail, plus how many people are coming, how many rooms you think you need and what kind of gathering it is. Nothing else on the site asks you for personal information.
We do not run analytics on this website. There is no tracking of how you move around the pages, no advertising, and no profiling.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
We use what you send only to answer your enquiry and, if it leads to a stay, to arrange that stay. The legal basis is your request itself, that is, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, together with your consent when you tick the box on the form.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within twelve months. Where a booking is made, we keep what Greek tax and accommodation law requires us to keep, for as long as it requires.
Who else is involved
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes the technical request data any web server sees, including your IP address, in order to serve the pages to you.
Some parts of the site load content from other companies. These only load if you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit:
- Google Maps, for the maps showing where the hotel is.
- YouTube, for the video in the footer, loaded in its no-cookie mode.
If you decline, those areas stay blank and nothing is requested from Google. Two further services load regardless, because the site cannot render without them: Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces, and Open-Meteo, which supplies the weather forecast in the footer. Both receive your IP address as part of an ordinary web request. Neither sets cookies and neither is told who you are.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or analytics cookies. It stores one small item in your browser to remember whether you accepted or declined the embedded content above, so you are not asked again on every page. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
If you accept the embedded content, Google may set its own cookies through the map and video. Those are governed by Google's privacy policy, not this one.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, object to our using it, or ask for it in a portable form. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, which does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

Complaints
If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, Kifissias 1-3, 115 23 Athens, www.dpa.gr.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top.
