What this website is
These pages describe the hotel, its rooms and the surrounding area, and let you send us an enquiry. No booking is made and no payment is taken on this site. There is no account to create and no order to place.
Enquiries are not reservations
Sending an enquiry, whether about a room or about a group stay, is a request for information. It does not hold a room and it does not create a booking. A booking exists only once the hotel has confirmed it to you in writing, with the dates, the rooms and the price stated.
Bookings, prices and availability
Prices and availability are not published on this site. They are given to you when you enquire and confirmed at the time of booking. Where you book through a third party platform such as Booking.com, your contract for that booking is subject to that platform's terms as well as ours, and the details you agreed there, including the price and the cancellation terms, are the ones that apply.
Changes, cancellations and refunds
If you booked through a third party platform, the cancellation and refund terms shown to you by that platform when you booked are the terms that apply, and changes are normally made through the platform.
If you booked directly with the hotel, the terms are the ones set out in the written confirmation you received. To change or cancel a direct booking, or to ask what applies to yours, contact us at stoikoshotel@hotmail.com or +30 24230 86406. Nothing here affects rights that Greek and European consumer law give you and that cannot be set aside by agreement.
Group stays
Stays for groups and gatherings are arranged individually. The size of the group, the rooms, the dates and anything else agreed are set out and confirmed in writing before the stay, and those arrangements take precedence over the general description on these pages.
Accuracy of what you read here
We try to keep this site accurate and current, but details change. Descriptions, photographs and facilities are given in good faith and are not a contractual guarantee of any particular feature on any particular date. If something specific matters to your stay, please ask us before you book.
The events listed on this site are organised by others and the dates come from published programmes, so they can move or be cancelled without notice. Please confirm locally before travelling.
Walking routes
The walking guides on this site are collected from public sources. We have not surveyed these routes and we do not maintain or supervise them. They are offered as information, not as a recommendation to walk any particular path, and conditions on the ground can differ from what is described. Anyone setting out does so on their own responsibility and should judge the route, the weather and their own ability for themselves.
Other companies' content
Some parts of this site show content from other companies, such as maps from Google and video from YouTube, and some pages link to external websites. Those load only if you accept them. We do not control that content and we are not responsible for it or for the terms of the sites we link to.
Photographs and text
The text and photographs on this site belong to the hotel or are used with the permission of the people who made them. Please do not copy, republish or use them commercially without asking us first.
Using the site
Please use this site as intended. Do not attempt to disrupt it, gain access to parts of it that are not public, or send automated volumes of enquiries through the forms.
Liability
We provide this website as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from the use of the site itself, from it being unavailable, or from reliance on general information published here rather than on what we confirm to you directly. We do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Greek law. Your rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published here, with the date shown at the top, is the one that applies. The terms in force when you booked are the ones that govern that booking.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Greek law, and the courts of Volos, Magnesia have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the law of the country where you live. The European Commission also provides an online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
