The walk
From Damouchari the kalderimi climbs to Mouresi, then on to Kissos with its church of Agia Marina (1745), through the plane-tree Kissiotiko ravine, past Agios Dimitrios and down to Agios Ioannis and Papa Nero, before returning along the shore.
Good to know
- Moderate but long, about 806 m of climbing across 13.9 km.
- Waymarked (red paint, metal signs); water in the villages; shady for much of the way.
- Best April to October.
