The walk
Leaving the lower square of Drakia, an earth-and-cobble path winds through shaded groves and old irrigation channels, with a fine overlook from the Chatzini square across the gully toward the village.
Good to know
- Easy and shady; about an hour at an easy pace.
- Waymarked (red paint, signs); no water on the path, fill up in the villages.
- Walkable most of the year; loveliest in spring greenery.
