The walk
From the car-free square of Lafkos (with its little Fambas art museum) the kalderimi descends through olive groves and shade to the waterfront and tavernas of Milina. It can also be walked as a ~7 km loop, returning by a northern path.
Good to know
- Easy, mostly downhill (~310 m); water at the Panagia Mesosporitissa fountain.
- Marked with the yellow “Friends of the Kalderimi” signs and red paint.
- Best spring and autumn.
