A quieter alternative to the Zagora path, dropping from Pouri down the north coast past a string of undeveloped beaches.
The walk
The kalderimi descends past the clifftop chapel of Kato Ai Giannis and the beaches of Analipsi, Tourkopigi and Parisena, with their seasonal tavernas, before reaching Horefto.
Good to know
- Moderate, all descent (~423 m), steep and hot to walk back up.
- Water at the beaches in season; red paint marks and signs.
- Best April to October.
